Kejriwal finds no wrong in forging alliance with corrupt Congress

Arvind Kejriwal, who once was against taking Congress’s support, and got votes for the same in Delhi poll, has suddenly changed his stance saying there is nothing wrong in forming the Government in the State. On the issue of Government formation, the Aam Aadmi Party convener Kejriwal was quoted as saying, “It is a political question now… whether or not we form Government … there is nothing unethical about it now.” Earlier on Friday, AAP leader Manish Sisodia said that there were indications that people of Delhi want the party to form the Government but any final decision will be taken only after the result of referendum comes. Sensex, Nifty scale new heights after BJP’s win in State polls

Sensex and Nifty scaled new heights on Monday after BJP achieved favourable poll results in four States. The BSE Sensex and the NSE Nifty soared to hit new all-time high of 21,483.74 and 6,415.25 points, respectively, on sustained fund inflows after the Bharatiya Janata Party’s spectacular performance in Assembly elections amid a firming overseas trend. The 30-share index, which had gained 287.82 points in the previous two sessions, zoomed to hit an all-time high of 21,483.74 by surging 487.21 points, or 2.32 per cent. All the sectoral indices, led by banking and capital goods, were trading in positive territory with gains up to 3.68 per cent. The 50-share NSE Nifty also recorded its all-time high of 6,415.25, surpassing the previous closing high of 6,357.10 registered on January 8, 2008. Investors inclined towards a BJP win in 2014 election: CLSA

Photo: Mint New Delhi:  Opinion polls may be unreliable, but the markets favour the main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the Congress party-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government to win next year’s general elections, Hong Kong-based securities house CLSA Asia-Pacific Markets said on Monday. “It is clear that the market favours one outcome over another. It is their right to do that,”  Christopher Wood , equity strategist at CLSA, told reporters at the CLSA India Forum in New Delhi. Market rally: Foreign brokerages raise their pitch on Modi’s election win
